If any one has been following my posts the last couple weeks you should already know that this is the third song released by Joel Plaskett from his upcoming album, Scrappy Happiness. You can check out the other posts HERE.
The third track released is called Old Friends and you can stream it over on CBC Radio 2.

Santigold hit the scene hard back in 2008 with her single L.E.S. Artistes and her self-titled release. The Philadelphia based artist is now back with a single, Big Mouth, which will be featured on her highly anticipated 2nd album entitled Master of My Make Believe . Indie-rockers Plants and Animals are planning to release their third studio album entitled The End of That on February 28th, 2012. Their first LP, Parc Avenue, quickly caught the ears of listeners across the country including Spencer and I. The album was shortlisted for the 2008 Polaris Music Prize and was nominated for a 2009 Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year... Not bad credentials if you ask me.
The first single, Lightshow, has been released and you can stream it below.

When Miike Snow's debut album was released in 2009 the group was quickly being blogged about around the world. The single Animal off the album was big and the trio earned a loyal following.
Miike Snow is now back with a new track called Devil's Work. You can check out the video and the Mp3 below.
On November 29, 2011 the band announced via Facebook that their new album is complete, the videos are being shot, the artwork is being finished, and the tour dates are being planned.
Toronto based indie-rock band Zeus released their lead single from their upcoming sophomore record due in early 2012 (via Arts & Crafts). Their previous album Say Us was on the Long-List for the 2010 Polaris Prize and they have recently opened for Sam Roberts on his tour across Canada.
Coldplay's new album, Mylo Xyloto is out on October 24th and they have just released the video for the first single Paradise. As usual, I have placed the video below for you to check out.
The new Black Keys album El Camino is set for release December 6th of this year. Later this month the first single will be released which is called Lonely Boy.

What to say about the Tallest Man on Earth aka Kristian Matsson, his songwriting turns me into mush and I completely surrender to his immense talent. His song "King of Spain" from his 2010 album The Wild Hunt were #1 and #2 respectively on our unreleased Top Tracks and Top Albums of 2010. Today his new song "Weather of a Killing Kind" was released via Adult Swim and will be available for download next Tuesday. So have a listen and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Cass is an amazing, well respected songwriter that will just get you hooked and My Morning Jacket are Southern indie rock veterans who have inspired bands such as Fleet Foxes.
