Cold Specks - Blank Maps (Video)

Jeremy Fisher - Mint Juleps

Canadian singer-songwriter Jeremy Fisher has just recently announced that he will be releasing a new album entitled Mint Juleps on July 5th. He has also released the first single entitled Built to Last and it is available for download in exchange for an email address. You can check out the song over on his website jeremyfishermusic.com.

Cuff The Duke - In Our Time EP and Hockey Night In Canada

Oshawa's, Cuff The Duke just recently released their In Our Time EP. The EP is collection of covers ranging from Guided By Voices to John Lennon. I have placed a widget below for all of you to stream at your leisure.



The National Hockey League Playoffs have arrived and CBC's Hockey Night In Canada (HNIC) broadcasted their Stanley Cup Playoffs preview on Tuesday Evening. Cuff The Duke was the musical guest for the night and you can check out their performances throughout the show HERE. They start off with Count on Me about 1 minute into the program. Enjoy.

In Concert - Garth Brooks

The 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede is fast approaching and there was a big concert announcement this morning. Garth Brooks will be playing a show in Calgary on July 12th at the Scotiabank Saddledome. I know we don't post much in terms of country on this blog... but this is big news. Garth is one of the best selling musicians of all time in the United States following only Elvis and The Beatles.

Ticket information will be announced this coming Tuesday.

Mat McHugh - Love Come Save Me

Mat McHugh of Australian roots group, The Beautiful Girls released a solo album in 2009 entitled Seperatista! which took listeners back to the early days of TBG. In June of last year he released a 4 song EP called Go Don't Stop that incorporated that same feel. He is back again with a full length this time called, Love Come Save Me. Just a couple hours ago Mat launched a website to promote the new album and is offering the album up for a free download.

Feist - The Bad in Eachother (Video)

Hey all. Hope your week has been going well so far. Many of you may know that the Juno Awards took place over the past weekend and some of Canada's finest musicians were recognized for their efforts. One performance that I really enjoyed was Feist and Bry Webb performing The Bad in Eachother off of Feist's latest release, Metals. Check it out below:
